We have now reached the date when we can declare the winner; the first prize of £100 goes to a resident of Stourbridge whose ticket was returned from Gotene in Sweden!!

140 tickets were returned; 19 were returned from Germany, 2 more from Austria and an Italian ski resort, hundreds of miles from the winner in Sweden amazing!!!!!

The event raised over £3400 for the two charities involved; Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Breast Screening Service (CWSBSS), and the Prostate Cancer Support Association (Central England). The proceeds are being split equally, and both charities would like to say a very big thank you to all those who worked so hard sellings tickets.

As a result there will be another Prostate Cancer screening evening in January when men over 50 years old in the Coventry area will be invited to be tested (by U H C&W staff).

Once again the PCSA(CE) will be greatly indebted to to the Coventry Leofric Lions for their most generous support to make this event possible.

The Breast Screening Service is looking to use the funds to help purchase much needed new equipment.
