Quiz Night - Thursday 2nd October

Thanks to all who attended and made our Quiz Night such a success! Eighty or so members and friends attended, and made up 10 competitive teams! Our thanks go to Annie Lock, ably supported by her husband, John, who composed the excellent quiz, and gave us all such an enjoyable (and challenging) evening. Thanks also to Bill Bird who made the initial arrangements, and to Brian Cooley who actually organised the night at the Ambleside Club.

The winning team was The Magnificent Seven!

Keith also thanked Colin and Maud for their latest fund raising efforts - over £400 - in the poring rain!
